Dinaw Mengustu’s ALL OUR NAMES is a Top 10 Literary Fiction Pick by Publishers Weekly, saying, “Mengestu portrays the intersection of cultures experienced by the immigrant with unsettling perception.” The book will be published by Knopf on March 5, 2014.
The February 10, 2014 issue of Publishers Weekly gives JOHN WAYNE: THE LIFE AND LEGEND a starred review. “In this compulsively readable biography, Eyman examines closely Wayne’s major films, from The Searchers and The Shootist to Sands of Iwo Jima and True Grit to depict the actor who ‘came to symbolize the American man throughout the world, whether he was wearing a soldier suit or a cowboy hat.’” Simon and Schuster will publish the book on April 1, 2014.
Kevin Fong was interviewed on NPR’s Fresh Air with Terry Gross about EXTREME MEDICINE, which was also excerpted in Wired and reviewed in the March issue of Discover Magazine. The book was published by Penguin on February 6, 2014.
