Additionally, journalist Allison Stewart interviewed Gould for her NYC culture podcast All Of It, wherein the two discussed the research that Gould conducted in order to set her characters in a true-to-life 2001 New York City. In a conversation published to Granta’s website, Kate Zambreno discusses life in quarantine with fellow author Kathryn Scanlan. Two stories from Ted Chiang’s short story collection EXHALATION are finalists for the 2020 Hugo Awards. His story “Anxiety Is the Dizziness of Freedom” was named a finalist in the Best Novella category and his story “Omphhalos” was named a finalist in the Best Novelette category. The author also did an interview with Electric Literature for a piece entitled “Ted Chiang Explains the Disaster Novel We All Suddenly Live In.” Knopf published the book on May 18, 2019.
A new documentary film from Grammy Award-winning Beastie Boys members Mike Diamond and Adam Horovitz is coming to Apple TV+.
