CELL deputed at number 11 on the New York Times Hardcover Bestseller list for the week of February 23, 2014 and the book was featured in the “Inside the List” column. Robin Cook also published (with Eric Topol) an Op-Ed called “How Digital Medicine Will Soon Save Your Life” in the February 22-23 Wall Street Journal. The book was featured in the PW Bestsellers column for the week February 3-February 9, 2014. Putnam published the book February 13, 2014.

Diane Johnson’s, FLYOVER LIVES received a positive review in the New York Review of Books. The reviewer, Francine Prose, says that “What gives her memoir its charm and makes it so consistently beguiling is not so much the events it describes….as the tone in which Johnson relates her recollections, reflections and discoveries.” Viking published the book January 16, 2014.

LET HIM GO by Larry Watson

Larry Watson’s LET HIM GO has won the 2013 Montana Book Award. The annual award recognizes literary or artistic excellence in a book written or illustrated by someone who lives in Montana, is set in Montana, or deals with Montana themes or issues. Judges said, “In Let Him Go, Watson is at his storytelling finest.” Milkweed Editions published the book on September 3, 2013.

KIND OF KIN by Rilla Askew

Rilla Askew’s KIND OF KIN was an Editors’ Choice in the New York Times Book Review on February 2, 2014 and was listed in the Sunday Book Review’s Paperback Row, saying, “The fraught issue of illegal immigration divides an Oklahoma clan and their town in Askew’s heartfelt novel.” Ecco published the paperback edition of the book on January 21, 2013.

YOU MUST REMEMBER THIS by Robert Wagner & Scott Eyman

An excerpt from Robert Wagner’s new memoir, YOU MUST REMEMBER THIS: Life and Style in Hollywood’s Golden Age, appears in the March 2014 issue of Vanity Fair. Penguin will publish the book on March 11, 2014.

CHANCE by Kem Nunn is a Publisher Weekly pick for the week of February 17, 2014. PW calls the book a “brilliant and cerebral psychological thriller.” Scribner will publish the book on February 18, 2014.

ALL OUR NAMES by Dinaw Mengestu

Dinaw Mengustu’s ALL OUR NAMES is a Top 10 Literary Fiction Pick by Publishers Weekly, saying, “Mengestu portrays the intersection of cultures experienced by the immigrant with unsettling perception.” The book will be published by Knopf on March 5, 2014.
