Prof. Fulbrook’s revelatory history of the aftermath of the Holocaust, RECKONINGS, has been awarded the 2019 Wolfson History Prize. The judges called it “a masterly work which explores the shifting boundaries and structures of memory.” Oxford University Press published the book on October 2, 2018.

Nell Stevens’ irresistible memoir THE VICTORIAN AND THE ROMANTIC has been shortlisted for a 2019 Somerset Maugham Award by the Society of Authors. Doubleday published the US edition on August 7, 2018.

BEARSKIN received the Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America for the Best First Novel by An American Author. Ecco published the book on June 12, 2018.

Ashleigh Young’s collection CAN YOU TOLERATE THIS? has been shortlisted for the prestigious Rathbones Folio Prize. Riverhead published the book in North America on July 3, 2018.
THE BEAR AND THE NIGHTINGALE by Katherine Arden
Katherine Arden has been nominated for the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer. She joins a shortlist of five other writers whose first professional work of science fiction or fantasy was published the last two years. The winner will be presented August 2019 in Dublin at the annual Hugo Awards. Del Rey Books published the book on January 18, 2017.

Eileen Myles was awarded the 2019 Arts and Letters Award in Literature, which honors writers of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and drama. Grove, Atlantic published the book on September 11, 2018.
HEAVY by Kiese Laymon
HEAVY is a winner of B&N Discover Great New Writers Prize in Nonfiction. It has also been named: Audible’s #1 Audiobook of the Year, the 2019 Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Nonfiction, and the 2018 Christopher Isherwood Prize. HEAVY has also been named a finalist for 2018 Kirkus Prize and a finalist for the Indies Choice Award in Adult Nonfiction. Scribner published the book on October 8, 2018.
