Brooke Borel was interviewed on NPR’s Fresh Air about her new book INFESTED: How the Bed Bug Infiltrated Our Bedrooms and Took Over the World. University of Chicago Press published the book on April 8, 2015.

Janklow & Nesbit’s own Richard Morris’s children’s book, THIS IS A MOOSE, has been chosen as a finalist for the 2015 Indies Choice Book Awards. The finalists are chosen by members of the American Booksellers Association. Little, Brown published the book on May 6th, 2014.
TO EXPLAIN THE WORLD by Nobel Laureate Steven Weinberg received rave reviews in the New York Times Book Review, which says that Weinberg “tells a rich, meaningful tale about the emergence of science, and evokes a sense of ‘how difficult was the discovery of modern science, how far from obvious are its practices and standards’.” The book was also reviewed by John Farrell on Forbes.com who calls it “entertaining”
Craig Davidson has won the inaugural James Herbert Award for Horror Writing, for his novel THE TROOP. The award commemorates the late horror writer James Herbert, whose daughter said of THE TROOP, “This is the darkest of tales where human evil meets an insatiable force of nature to wreak havoc on kids, a scout troop, no less. What could be better? My father would have chuckled in his chair; his fans will love it. And you’ll never go camping again.
Jason Hewitt’s THE DYNAMITE ROOM was given a starred review in Publishers Weekly, which said, “[A] strong debut novel … Hewitt's novel is well-crafted and engrossing. In the confines of a house that can feel at once claustrophobic and expansive, he artfully explores family and identity, and how war changes the lives of both soldiers and civilians.” Little, Brown published the book on March 17, 2015.
