Terry Brooks’ SHANNARA series has been renewed for a second season on MTV. The first season concluded on March 1st with 1.77 million viewers and high praise from various magazines and websites. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Shannara Chronicles ranks as MTV's top-rated new series this year among viewers 12-34 and has the highest seven-day DVR lift (106 percent) for a freshman series in MTV history.
