Netflix has acquired the film rights to CYBERSTORM by Matthew Mather. Screenwriter Matt Lopez will pen the adaptation, with Sebastian Hofmann attached to direct and Emile Gladstone on board to produce. Matthew Mather self-published CYBERSTORM on March 15, 2013.
Maxim Loskutoff was interviewed by Steven Wingate of the Fiction Writers Review about his debut novel, RUTHIE FEAR. A LOVER’S DISCOURSE by Xiaolu Guo was shortlisted for the 2020 Goldsmiths Prize. The annual prize is awarded to a book that “is deemed genuinely novel and which embodies the spirit of invention that characterises the genre at its best.” The winner will be announced on November 11th. Additionally, the book has received glowing praise from Lit Hub, PopSugar, The Christian Science Monitor, The Chicago Review of Books, Ms. Magazine, and The Guardian.
