THE SHANNARA CHRONICLES by Terry Brooks

MTV has announced casting news for their upcoming SHANNARA series, based on the popular fantasy series by Terry Brooks. Austin Butler (The Carrie Diaries) will star as Wil Ohmsford, a half-elf and last of the magical Shannara family; Manu Bennett (Arrow) will play the druid Allanon; and Ivana Baquero (Pan’s Labyrinth) will play Eretria.

THE LAND OF STEADY HABITS by Ted Thompson

Ted Thompson’s THE LAND OF STEADY HABITS was featured in end of year roundups in the San Francisco Chronicle, Slate and the Barnes & Noble review. In the San Francisco Chronicle’s roundup of “Writer’s Favorite Books of 2014”, the author Will Boast called the book “A sly, painstaking portrait of an unraveling marriage and a crumbling culture.”

Canada’s THE GLOBE AND MAIL on December 13, 2014 lists JOHNNY CASH: THE LIFE as number eight in Paperback Non-Fiction making Robert Hilburn’s book an international bestseller in paperback. Little Brown published the book on October 29, 2013.

Based on Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn’s bestselling book, the television series A PATH APPEARS will air on PBS on January 26, February 2, and February 9 of 2015. Each episode is 90 minutes long. Deckle Edge published the book on September 23, 2014.
