Adam Rutherford’s CREATION was reviewed by Smithsonian Magazine, which says that, “Rutherford is careful not to get too starry-eyed about any of the people or experiments he depicts...But even through Rutherford’s eminently sensible lens, it’s hard not to get excited.” Penguin published the book June 13, 2013.
Beatriz Williams’ A HUNDRED SUMMERS is featured in July’s O Magazine as well as on Vanity Fair’s website. Vanity Fair praised Williams’ book as “masterfully done.” Putnam published the book May 30, 2013.
Stuart Nadler’s WISE MEN was reviewed in AudioFile magazine, which said, “Narrator Bernard Clark characterizes both voices with so much contrast that there's no doubt the two men are polar opposites. The sarcastic and pessimistic Hilly stands out perfectly against the exuberant and bombastic Arthur… Nadler's story of opportunities lost and found is well crafted, and Clark is a wonderful storyteller.” Reagan Arthur Books published the book February 5, 2013.
Charlie Smith’s MEN IN MIAMI HOTELS received a starred Booklist review, saying, “With his murderously charismatic protagonist calming himself by quoting Virgil’s Georgics, Smith turns a rogue gangster’s tale into a glimmering, sharply faceted, hauntingly philosophical tragedy of cosmic flaws, stunning betrayals, and bloody revenge.” Harper Perennial will publish the book on July 2, 2013.
ECSTATIC NATION by Brenda Wineapple is praised in Library Journal: “[Wineapple’s] powerful prose takes the pulse of a nation unmaking and remaking… readers looking for a reliable, readable, and riveting story of the people and process of Wineapple’s chosen era will find this title well worth the ride.” HarperCollins will publish the book on August 6, 2013

Ramona Ausubel’s A GUIDE TO BEING BORN was reviewed in the Barnes & Noble Review, which calls it: “both aggressively nontraditional and universally appealing” and says that “above all, Ausubel captures that eyeless beauty in the world.” Riverhead published the book on May 2, 2013
The film adaptation of Thomas Harris’ wildly popular 1988 novel, THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, is featured in the June 2 New York Times film section. The article calls the infamous Hannibal Lecter ‘one of horror’s most hellish healers,’ and notes the character’s cultural longevity.
Max Barry’s new novel LEXICON was reviewed in The New York Times by Janet Maslin. She calls it, “a dark, dystopic grabber” and an “ambitious, linguistics-minded work of futurism.” The Penguin Press will publish the book June 18th, 2013.
