Larry Watson’s LET HIM GO received a starred, review in Publishers Weekly, which called the book “slyly suspenseful, highly engaging” with a “nail-biting denouement.” The review also called Watson “a consummate chronicler of the American West” who is “known for crisp images, resonant backdrops, and sharp characterizations drawn without flashy over-accessorizing.” Milkweed Editions will publish the book on September 3, 2013.

Kirkus called the book “A sad commentary on our times, but not to be ignored.” The book contains a preface by Jaycee’s mother, Terry Probyn. Simon & Schuster will publish the book on June 11, 2013
