Jimmy Carter’s latest book debuted at number 4 on the New York Times Hardcover Non-fiction bestseller list for the week of July 26th. The former President was also took part in a “Table for Three” discussion in Sunday’s the New York Times with the author of Jacqueline Woodson. Simon and Schuster published the book on July 7, 2015.

THE SHANNARA CHRONICLES by Terry Brooks

THE SHANNARA CHRONICLES, based on the series by Terry Brooks, debuted its highly-anticipated trailer at Comic Con last week in San Diego. Reviews of the first footage have been astounding, with Entertainment Weekly calling it “beautiful” and having a “sweeping score worthy of a summer blockbuster.” The 10-episode first season follows closely the second book in Terry Brooks’ original trilogy, THE ELFSTONES OF SHANNARA, and will air on MTV in January 2016.

“Sugar on Top” by John H Richardson

"Sugar on Top,” an article about the relationships between sugar daddies and sugar babies by client John H Richardson that was published in Playboy in November, 2012, will become a scripted TV series for DirecTV by Entertainment One called You Me Her. The half hour sitcom will follow a suburban married couple negotiating the sugar daddy lifestyle. This is the first time a Playboy article has inspired a scripted TV show and it was ordered direct to series. John Scott Shepherd, Peter Jaysen and Alan Gasmer will executive produce.
