Pulitzer Prize winning author, John Branch’s thought-provoking book about the life and death of hockey enforcer Derek Boorgaard has been selected by Publishers Weekly as one of the best nonfiction books of the year 2014. Norton published the hardcover on October 1st, 2014.
Laura Kipnis’ MEN is in this month’s New York Magazine feature by Boris Kachka, “7 Books You Need to Read This November”. Says Kachka, “The gender-centered essayist and author of Against Love turns her female gaze on the other gender, filing free-flowing musings on Ron Gallela, Tiger Woods, Larry Flynt, and many others under four rubrics: operators, neurotics, sex fiends, and haters.
