A LOVER’S DISCOURSE by Xiaolu Guo was shortlisted for the 2020 Goldsmiths Prize. The annual prize is awarded to a book that “is deemed genuinely novel and which embodies the spirit of invention that characterises the genre at its best.” The winner will be announced on November 11th.
