The New York Times reviewed MIDNIGHT AT THE BRIGHT IDEAS BOOKSTORE, saying, “I couldn’t resist Matthew Sullivan’s MIDNIGHT AT THE BRIGHT IDEAS BOOKSTORE, an appealing first novel . . . The oddball characters and layered plot make this puzzle mystery both charming and challenging.”
In addition, The Washington Post picked up a rave review from the AP, which said of the book: “Sullivan nails it, delivering a captivating conflict plus masterfully executed prose. To boot, the bookstore setting will charm even those who devour this read electronically.”
