Electric Lit has named COSMOGONY by Lucy Ives one of its favorite short story collections of 2021: "Vast in both genre and style, the stories in Lucy Ives’ debut collection COSMOGONY animate the little, off the beaten path moments that make up everyday life…The intricacies and cleverness of Ives’ writing extend throughout the collection, where everyday life clashes with the surreal to unpack and explore the nature of human existence.” Soft Skull published the book on March 9, 2021.

The New Yorker featured Eugene Lim’s novel SEARCH HISTORY in the Briefly Noted section of the magazine’s December 20, 2021 issue. EVERYTHING NOW by Rosecrans Baldwin was named one of the “15 Best Book Covers of 2021” by the AV Club. They write: "The fuzzy, black-and-white photographs, the sans serif font, the vaguely unintentional arrangement of it all—the cover of Rosecrans Baldwin’s collection of essays about L.A. screams zine, as though you’re about to have it shoved into your hand by someone standing outside Amoeba. It gives the sense of the book having arisen from the ground level of the city. You can almost feel the heat of the sun—or the copier machine." MCD published the book on June 15, 2021.
