Angelica Baker’s OUR LITTLE RACKET tops the list of books The Atlantic editors and writers are reading this summer. The Atlantic writes, “any reader will appreciate the tightly woven drama of this book, which brings its five protagonists out of the margins of the crisis and into an explosive confrontation of their own.” Ecco published OUR LITTLE RACKET on June 20, 2017.

The acclaimed new novel by Andrew Sean Greer debuted at number 14 on the Indiebound Bestseller list for the week of 8/16/17. Dutton published the book on August 1, 2017.

Eugene Lim’s DEAR CYBORGS was included in the San Francisco Chronicle’s roundup of new science fiction and fantasy books. For The Village Voice, Ross Barkan writes that DEAR CYBORGS is “drawing the sorts of critical accolades that should vault [Lim] into the first rank of American writers.” FSG Originals published DEAR CYBORGS on June 6, 2017.

The first trailer for the acclaimed adaptation of Andre Aciman’s first novel, CALL ME BY YOUR NAME debuted online. The film directed by Luca Guadagnino (A BIGGER SPLASH & I AM LOVE) will be released on November 24th. Aciman’s latest book ENIGMA VARIATIONS was published on January 3, 2017 by Farrar, Straus & Giroux.

Rachel Khong’s GOODBYE, VITAMIN is one of the hottest books of the summer, according to Oprah, Vanity Fair, and Refinery29. The book also received a glowing review in the New York Times Book Review from Doree Shafrir, who calls it “a quietly brilliant disquisition on family, relationships and adulthood, told in prose that is so startling in its spare beauty that I found myself thinking about Khong's turns of phrase for days after I'd finished reading”

Jia Tolentino recommended celebrated novelist Samantha Hunt’s upcoming debut THE DARK DARK in the New Yorker’s web feature “What We’re Reading This Summer,” where she writes: “Samantha Hunt’s new collection of short stories… wields such a subtle and alien power that I couldn’t read more than a couple of pieces in a sitting without feeling like some witchy substance was working its way through my blood.” Farrar, Straus & Giroux will publish the book on July 18, 2017.

Rebecca Mead recommended Laura Kipnis’s UNWANTED ADVANCES in the New Yorker’s web feature “What We’re Reading This Summer,” where she writes: “Kipnis adeptly applies the now unfashionable but enduringly illuminating insights of psychoanalysis, with mordantly compelling results, to the actions and motivations of those who have become ensnarled in institutional [Title IX] scrutiny." Harper published the book April 4, 2017.

Eugene Lim’s DEAR CYBORGS received a rave review from Christian Lorentzen in New York Magazine. DEAR CYBORGS is also one of the best books of the year so far, according to Nylon and the Chicago Review of Books. Jonathan Sturgeon included DEAR CYBORGS in a review of Occupy literature for The Baffler, calling DEAR CYBORGS “a short but important novel.” Eugene joined the Leonard Lopate show on June 23 to discuss his new novel.
