The comedic novel was featured in the Paperback Fiction lists for The Washington Post, The LA Times, the Northern California Independent Booksellers List, as well as the Boston Globe. The paperback edition of the book was published on May 22, 2018.
The New York Times named James A. McLaughlin’s debut novel one of “9 New Books We Recommend This Week.” The book was also reviewed in the crime column.
