In her series of portraits of cultural figures from New York’s LGBTQ+ community, photographer Kate Simon praises Peter McGough’s memoir I’VE SEEN THE FUTURE AND I’M NOT GOING alongside a photograph she took of the author in his home. She writes: “I’ve read and listened to about 10 times. It’s a masterpiece. It’s about AIDS, the 80s and the art world.
