FRESH COMPLAINT, the first short story collection by Jeffrey Eugenides, received a positive review in The Guardian. The review praises the author as a “fine exponent of the satisfying denouement” and says the collection offers “fleeting visits from characters with whom you’d like to spend a little time.” Farrar Straus & Giroux will publish the book on October 3, 2017.
