The recently published SPACEMAN OF BOHEMIA has received some fantastic notices. The Wall Street Journal has included the book on their list of Best New Fiction. NPR writes: “Spaceman of Bohemia gets heavy—but the story, like its protagonist, flies along weightlessly…. it speaks to Kalfar's deftness that Jakub is never less than charismatic and engaging, even when wallowing in the least admirable dimensions of his own mind.” The New York Times in their review called it “A frenetically imaginative first effort, booming with vitality and originality . . . Kalfar’s voice is distinct enough to leave tread marks.”
