The Guardian noted, “Rutherford tells his stories with great brio and a disarming line in personal commentary…Creation is the perfect primer on the past and future of DNA,” while the Telegraph called it “an efficient, accessible overview of developments in synthetic biology to date.” The Financial Times also recommended the book, saying, “Rutherford’s academic background in genetics gives him a firm grasp of the intricacies of biochemistry – and he translates these superbly into clear English.” Meanwhile, Rutherford was also profiled in the Observer and interviewed on BBC by biochemist Professor Nick Lane about science of creation. Penguin will publish the book in the U.S. on June 13, 2013
