The book was also recently reviewed by Kirkus, which praised Dartnell for “appreciating while there’s still time the world of ‘bountiful and varied food, spectacularly effective medicines, effortless and comfortable travel, and abundant energy.’” The author also had an essay called “Civilization’s Starter Kit” in the March 30, 2014 edition of the New York Times. Penguin Press will publish the book on April 17, 2014.
