Having grown up in New York City, Lansing Clark attended Oberlin College and majored in English. A reader from a young age, she became interested in publishing, interning at literary agencies and then working in the Entry-Level Training Program at CAA before joining Janklow and Nesbit Associates in 2024, where she assists Kirby Kim and Paul Lucas.
Lansing is interested in a wide range of fiction, both literary and commercial, speculative, and historical, especially enjoying family dramas, stories with a complex central relationship, and themes of identity and belonging. In nonfiction, she's drawn to narratives that illuminate a certain history, social phenomenon, or psychological experience, as well as any deeply personal, humorous, or otherwise thought-provoking memoirs.
